![]() Are you up for a challenge? Vivian Kirkfield is hosting her annual #50preciouswords contest right now and you have till Tuesday, March 6th to paste your story on her blog post here. In picture books, the name of the game is saying your story in the least amount of words possible...but what can you say in 50 words? It turns out more than you think. Here is mine...hope you enjoy! I bye you (Word Count: 42 words) “IIIII bbbyyyyyeeee you.” Sadey squeezes out the words. “I bye you?” Sadey’s mom doesn’t understand. “IIIII bbbyyyyyeeee you.” Sadey repeats. “Sadey, I still don’t understand.” Mom explains. “IIIIII bbbyyyllloooovvvveee you.” Sadey says slowly. Mom nods. “Sadey, I buy you every day.”
